Feedback. I love that word, how seamlessly and unequivocally it delivers its meaning! Your feedback is something I value and look forward to. Feedback to the "Goodfoodline" and now feedback to the "Metroplus Food Guide". Feedback on all that I write (or that which I should've written). On all that is accurate (and also off the mark), the good and the bad...I value what you have to say because you, dear reader, is who I am writing for. So please do keep that feedback rolling in, I look forward to it.
I am delighted that the "MetroPlus Food Guide" is being hugely appreciated. As far as my section in the book is concerned, I did do my best to make it as comprehensive as possible. Week after week I invited everyone to write in, if they were caterers, dessert makers or in any way connected to food services. Inspite of that, some were not included. Which is not an indication of their merit or demerit, but simply my not being able to sample their food.
Sunil Rajankar's "Goldline Catering" being a case in point. Sunil Rajankar's catering firm specialises in large-scale office catering though they can undertake other assignments too. They serve up to 300 breakfasts, 800 lunches and over 200 dinners every day at the Infosys office in the city. Interestingly, Rajankar also runs four strategically located kitchens for those who do not have cooking facilities. He has also set up special health food counters, with salads, soups and more.
When I visit Chennai next for my "Tasting session", I am determined to get a taste of the golden service.
