Chinese athlete Liu Xiang who won the gold medal in the men's 110 metre hurdles race in the 2004 Olympic Games with a time of 12.91 seconds defeated an impressive line up of the most accomplished hurdlers in the world from USA and Europe. Liu was born on July 13, 1983 in Shanghai and his hobbies include singing and working on his computer but his ambition is to win another gold in the next Olympics.
