A NEW BRAND: Blues and Blues promise great quality leather accessories

Blue and Blues, an Italian brand for coloured leather accessories, made its entry into the Indian market by opening its first exclusive store at MGF Mall in Gurgaon, this past week.

Blue and Blues is a brand founded by two Italians, the late Francesco Lanzaratto - an eminent Italian fashion designer - and Fulvio Rovaris, the owner of Lemie, considered the third largest belt manufacturing company in the world. It was launched in India under the flag of Blue and Blues India Fashion Limited, which has its headquarters at Kolkata. At the mall it boasts a wide collection of ladies' handbags, ladies' and men's wallet, belts and portfolio bags.

With international standards in mind, the ambience of the store is kept classy and contemporary. Praveen Agarwal, the director, Blues and Blues Fashion India Limited, seems happy about the response of shoppers. "The distinctive look and vibrant colours would be the differentiator for the brand. The product will also appeal to the buyer in terms of touch and feel." At a glance, his statement is substantiated by the looks of the leather goods. Customers are likely to be hooked to the brand. But then, it might burn a hole in the pocket too. The prices of men's wallets and ladies' handbags start at Rs. 588 and 1588, respectively.
