Hot and happening

The All American Diner is celebrating a hot dog festival coinciding with the `Hot Dog Month' in America this July

It's back and it's hard to miss. The All American Diner, a food joint in Indian Habitat Centre, famous for its American cuisine has once again brought the magic of Hot Dog Festival for the people of Delhi. Started two years ago as an experiment, the festival has been a hit and is now hosted every year by the All American Diner, a Café bar turned into a resto-bar.

Even as July is celebrated as `Hot Dog Month' in America, the All American Diner back in the Capital is alluring the food lovers with some authentic varieties of Hot Dogs. The short but enticing menu might just leave you undecided about the item you want to try. The non-vegetarians would succumb to the wide array of Hot Dogs which includes some lip-smacking options like Chicago Dog, a combination of chicken frankfurter with honey mustard sauce, onion, tomato and iceberg lettuce; Spicy BBQ Cheese Dog-pork frankfurter tossed with BBQ sauce, and California dog-chicken frankfurter with ranch dressing, bacon, tomato and pepperoni in sesame bun which is gaining high in the items they serve, as the chef claims.

The vegetarians need not to lose heart as All American Diner, for the first time has come up with some vegetarian variants too. Tex Mex Dog and Beany Weany being introduced on request, juxtaposed with the special in-house developed vegetarian sausage are great vegetarian delights.

The festival will remain open till the month-end. Besides the members, non-members too can satiate their taste buds with all-time favourite, American Hot Dog with the cool iced-tea.
