Saying bye is hard to do!

Don't panic when you fish goes belly up

BID ADIEU Say bye

One fine day, one of your fish goes belly up. What do you do? Blame it on your karma and close your eyes and recite `Om mani padme hum' or say `wah wah', "my fish has soaked up all the bad chi and has gone to heaven, peace be on it".

But the truth is simpler. Most fish live for a few months in the wild; it is only in the aquarium that the fish can live up to 10 years or occasionally more. So, when a fish dies after a few years, it is not a tragedy. Don't take it out and throw it away, its mates will do a good finishing job, only thing you have to do is don't feed them for a day or two.

But be warned if the fish has died of some disease then you have to take it out and bury it in soil.
