Don't vilify us!

Throughout the World Cup season, feminists and `misoandrists' went on an overdrive castigating men and the game in every possible way. Men have been accused of neglecting their wives (as if they are born to serve their wives like 24x7 butlers), accused of taking over TV sets (no mention of women's monopoly watching soaps and serials for the remaining 3 years 11 months by the way, what else men can watch on TV?) and are now being accused of being irresponsible and negligent (C.K. Meena's City Light's column, Sports and the sexes, July 12, 2006).

And here are my two cents' worth on the subject of responsibility: most women treat their mothers-in-law so "responsibly" that the latter usually think twice before planning a second visit.
