AS GOOD AS IT GETS Vendors near KBR Park sell fresh produce to morning walkers.

What's the best time you'd prefer to buy your greens? By trial and error, you'd know that fresh greens are sold at the crack of drawn by vendors moving from one locality to another. How about buying these greens at the crack of dawn soon after your morning walk? Add to that, a host of other fresh fruits and vegetables.Vendors in the city sure know a thing or two about business.

By each passing week, more people drive that extra mile and head to one of the parks for their fitness routines. As the number of cars swell, so does the number of vendors. KBR Park, Public Gardens and Necklace Road have a good number of vendors who target the morning walkers. From fresh greens like palak, methi and gongura to seasonal fruits like litchis, peaches, pears, plums and the omnipresent bananas, you can have your pick.

Knowing that the visitors to these parks are fitness oriented, health drinks that are low on sugar are also sold. The prices are at par with market rates but if you are lucky, you will be given a discount since the vendors too want to begin their day on a happy note. The next time you head out walking with your Discman/i-Pod in tow, take a few rupees along. Nothing like kick-starting your day on a healthy note.
