Action packed

If you are tired of all those saas-bahu serials, then look out for SAB's new serial "Left Right Left" (Monday-Thursday, 9.30 p.m.). This action packed youth-based drama is set in the National Defence Academy (NDA). It tells the story of six youngsters with varied interests, dreams, aspirations and goals, who come together at the NDA. According to a spokesperson of SAB TV: "There is something called viewer fatigue in India and the audiences want more innovative programmes. In an attempt to popularise SAB as a light hearted general entertainment channel, programmes such as "Left Right Left" are being telecast." SAB, which has been taken over by Sony, is obviously looking at college going audiences who form a large chunk of television viewers.
