Mughal delicacies

SPECIALTIES The menu has signature dishes

The Northern Gate, the North Indian restaurant at The Taj Gateway, has an ongoing food fest called Lagan Food Festival. No, the festival isn't serving what they ate on the sets of the Hindi blockbuster. Instead, it is a traditional cooking vessel "accidentally invented by the khansamas of the Moguls" with the same name. The fest goes on till August 6. The menu will offer Mughal delicacies and signature dishes such as galouti kebab, tawa chaamp, bharwan paneer ke kofte and dudiya tikka to name a few. For reservations, call The Northern Gate at the Taj Gateway on 66604545.
