Sanjay Suri on his latest film "Bas Ek Pal"

If you loved them in Jhankaar Beats and My Brother... Nikhil, the pair is back again in their latest venture, Bas Ek Pal. Sanjay Suri and Juhi Chawla were in the Capital for the promotion of D'damas jewellery and their latest movie Bas Ek Pal. My Brother... Nikhil, was not a commercial success but it received critical acclaim. So despite the box office failure, the duo decided to work again with same director Onir in Bas Ek Pal.

The film revolves around five characters played by Sanjay Suri, Urmila Matondkar, Jimmy Shergill, Juhi Chawla and Rehan Engineer. Set in the metropolis of Mumbai the film explores the complexities of modern relationships. Expressing his view on Bas Ek Pal, Sanjay says, "Though fictional, it has shades of reality and one can relate to the characters. A typical commercial plot, it is an amalgam of romance, songs, action and drama."

Sanjay's movies might not have done wonders for him at the box office but his powerful performances in Pinjar, My Brother... Nikhil, have won him accolades. And his disarming smile has charmed many a female fan. Comparing his two movies with Onir, Sanjay says, "My Brother... Nikhil was totally different. There was frustration, challenge and insecurity but this is a fun loving and lighter movie, which will entertain the audience." Having earlier worked with Juhi, Sanjay quips their comfort level is quite high. His upcoming projects include, Kabhi Up Kabhi Down and Speed.
