Mallika in "Dasavatharam"

It's official! Mallika Sherawat, the hot and happening girl of Bollywood, is making her southern debut with Kamal Hassan's "Dasavatharam", to be directed by K. S. Ravikumar. Mallika, who shot to fame with her dare-bare act in films such as "Khwahish" and "Murder", made her presence felt on the international scene with the Jackie Chan film "The Myth". After refusing several Telugu and Tamil projects, she has agreed to play second fiddle to Asin in "Dasavatharam" as she did not want to lose the opportunity to work with Kamal Hassan! The buzz is that producer `Oscar' K. Ravichandran paid her a huge sum to do the film. The shooting will start on August 18 in the temple towns of Tanjavur and Kumbakonam.
