Sun TV is trying out something new by moving all its Film-Based Programmes (FBP) to Sunday! It is a bold decision since a market survey recently found that FBPs do better on holidays, while the primetime on weekdays is ruled by the soaps. After the channel launched actor Meena's serial "Lakshmi" on weekdays (8.30 p.m.), it has shifted the existing FBPs to Sunday -- such as "Ungal Choice" (10.30 a.m.), "Thirai Vimarsanam" (3.30 p.m.) and "Top 10" (8.30 p.m.).
