Come August 17 and till August 21 the Jawaharlal Nehru International stadium in the city will host The Hindu Metroplus Lifestyle show that will bring together readers and advertisers.
Fashion show
The event will kick off with a fashion show a week earlier on August 12 at the Taj Malabar where models from Mumbai and Bangalore will walk the ramp and sashay the latest in fashion.
Some of the well-known names like Smita Rao, Aishwarya Suresh, Kavya Chandavarkar, Sunny, Syed Mutalib will be seen on the catwalk DJ Tanmay from Bangalore will regale the audience to great music while the fashion show will be choreographed by Rahul Dev Shetty from Bangalore.
The main event will focus on lifestyle products, fashion, eating out, automobiles, home appliances, arts and handicrafts, computer and IT products, beauty and health, home furnishing, insurance and banking, travel and tourism and stationary and gift articles.
So here's a scintillating, glittering extravaganza, a mother of all shows on the cards of the city calendar, coming very soon.
