Introduction

Want to try some tasty Sindhi curry? Get in touch with Anu Caterers

Think about it. Every staple dish of our traditional cuisines is more often than not a complete, wholesome and well-balanced one. Be it South India's sambar-rice or North India's sarson-ka-saag and makai-ki-roti. It's the same delicious and nutritious story with my favourite Sindhi curry-rice. Chock-a-block with vegetables and brimming with flavour and goodness, this is a must-try. And Anuradha Bathija follows her family's authentic recipe in preparing it. She also caters professionally. Her snack menu of spring rolls, cheese rolls, cutlets and aloo bonda is a hit at birthday parties and kitty parties. However, for the main course, it is her Sindhi curry that I vouch for. Paneer butter masala and pao bhaji are her other popular preparations.

Anuradha's tiffin dabba service is in demand too.

A meal consists of rice, dal, sabji, two rotis and salad and costs Rs. 40. Bulk orders will be charged less. South Indian dishes are also served. The menu is different everyday. She does not mind taking order for and delivering even one meal in Egmore and Nungambakkam. She needs a minimum order of five tiffins for free delivery in other areas. Both her vegetarian and non-vegetarian dishes are quite in demand.

After her graduation in English literature, Anuradha decided to pursue her passion for cooking.

Though she has a team of helpers, she prefers to attend to each and every detail herself. Her college-going son loves her non-veg dishes, while her husband Gopal, who is into finance and insurance, is a source of support and swears by her Sindhi curry and aloo tuk (crispy-fried tangy potatoes).
