A kite festival

Enjoy the sight of kites frisking in the skies this Saturday


Lions Club of Coimbatore, Race Course, will organise a kite festival on August 12 (Saturday) at Ramalinga Chettiar Higher Secondary School grounds in Saibaba Colony. The festival is open to all. Traditional events like garland making, sorting out pulses and rangoli will be conducted. Solo singing, fancy dress competition and embroidery contest are also part of the exhibition.
