A new team

One of the biggest problems that channels face now is the moment a music or game show becomes popular, its anchors start demanding more.

Vijay TV's "Kalakkapovathu Yaar" (Friday, 10 p.m.) has replaced its earlier anchors (Chinni Jayanth, Madan Bob and Uma Riaz Khan) with an all-new team comprising Pandiarajan, Sadagopan Ramesh (second innings) and Swarnamalya.

Pandiarajan says: "Initially, I was a bit hesitant when I got the call as it was already a successful show. Since I am a director myself, I was confident I could judge the contestants. I am happy with the new team."

Sadagopan Ramesh is equally enthusiastic about being on the show again. Let us hope the new team of "Kalakkapovathu Yaar-2" sticks together for some time".
