Pranic healing demystified for all

Grand Master Choa Kok Sui will give spiritual discourses and lead group meditation in the city

ANYONE CAN! Master Choa Kok Sui says it's not difficult to learn Pranic healing

International spiritual guru Grand Master Choa Kok Sui, known as the founder of Arhatic Yoga and modern Pranic healing, will be in Bangalore on August 15 and 16.

Pranic healing is described as a no-touch drugless therapy complementing other healing modalities, where techniques are used to manipulate the prana or life force.

The grand master will conduct a spiritual discourse on the topics The Existence of God is Self-Evident, Achieving Oneness with the Higher Soul, introduction to a powerful ancient Indian mental/brain-power improvement technique called "Superbrain Yoga". He will also lead a group meditation session. The discourse on spiritual empowerment will be held 1 p.m. onwards at the Christ College Auditorium on August 15.

A special darshan for kids with the guru's senior disciples is also being organised from noon to 1 p.m. before the public darshan. For the convenience of children, a special bus service from strategic points in Bangalore is being planned to enable youngsters to attend the programme.

On Wednesday, August 16, the grand master with his senior disciples will hold a special session for 1,000 Pranic healers who will come to Bangalore from Mumbai, Pune, Hyderabad, Tirupathi, Vishakapatnam, Kochi, Thiruvananthapuram, Kozhikode, Chennai, Kolkata, Ahmedabad, Delhi, Jaipur, Bhuvaneswar, Uttaranchal, Allahabad and Lucknow, and other cities where Pranic healing centres are functioning. The course is a specialised one for Pranic healers and is part of the Inner Teachings Series by Grand Master Choa.

Master Choa Kok Sui has authored over 19 books that have been published in 27 languages, including the bestseller Miracles Through Pranic Healing. A chemical engineer by qualification and a businessman by profession, he is said to exemplify the fact that it's not difficult for anyone to learn Pranic healing.

After Bangalore, he will also host similar programmes in Kolkata on August 19 and 20. The Pranic Healing Foundation has 16 centres across nine states of India. There are a total of 80,000 Pranic healers all over India. In Karnataka alone there are 12,000.

The Pranic Healing Foundation of Karnataka, hosting the programme, is a registered trust formed in 1993. It conducts regular workshops and trains instructors too. For details on the programme contact 25584364/ 25583749. You can check out its website www.pranichealing.in
