For those of you who love ethnic wear and Indian embroidery, the Parikrama festival is back at Shoppers' Stop. The festival is on till August 20 and will have merchandise adorned with zardosi, chikankari, kantha, gota and kinari, aari and kashidakari works. The store also has a contest, Shop with Malaika, giving buyers a chance to win diamond jewellery worth Rs. 50, 000 (first prize) or Rs. 25,000 (second prize).
Artist Ashoke Mullick's works on view at Kalakriti Art Gallery (Road no.10, Banjara Hills, contact: 66564466) till August 14, between 4 p.m. and 6 p.m. titled Artist in Residence Programme, the event will see the artist meet with the visitors.
Tripura Kashyap, a dance therapist and choreographer, will be conducting a two-day training programme on dance therapy. This program will take you through the historical evolution, techniques and objectives of the therapy.
