Now, a photographer

Mohanlal is one actor who tries to experiment with different roles so that he does not get typecast. This year, the actor had tasted both critical and box-office success by doing varied roles such as that of an Alzheimer's patient, a carpenter, an army man, a fisherman and now an investigative press cameraman in "Photographer", which marks the directorial debut of writer Ranjan Pramod. Mohanlal plays Dijo John, who gets entangled in the problems of the Wynad tribals. The film is said to be loosely based on the Muthanga killings where seven tribals were killed by policemen.
