For a good laugh or two

A festival of comedies over the weekend

Bangalore Film Society (BFS) presents its seventh segment of monthly programme called Cinema, Coffee, Conversations. As part of the programme, four comedies will be screened on August 19 and 20 at 3.30 p.m. and 6 p.m.

The films on the first day are Smiles of a Summer Night, directed by Ingmar Bergman, and The Riflemen, by Jean Luc Godard. Jan Sverak's Kolya and Terry Jone's Monty Python's Life of Brian are the films that will be screened on the second day.

Admission to the screenings is free.

The films will be screened at BFS, 33/1, Thyagaraja Layout, Jai Bharathi Nagar, Banaswadi Main Road.
