CRAIG'S CALL

Love's labour's lost?

What you can do when the person you love does not reciprocate your feelings...

LOVE LORN IS your love being reciprocated?

This article is dedicated to all those specific people that mailed me over the one year that I've been writing this column... and to all of them that have received a reply to that... err problem that seems to plague their very existence... but still never seem to get it, even though I've written about this particular topic over and over again. So if you're one of them, or you've never mailed in but still have a girl that you like and she still ignores you even though she knows that you do like her... then my friends you have a one sided love and this ones for you.

It's the same every time... the mails sometimes are so similar that I've more or less memorized the beginning... "Dear Craig. I'm in school or anywhere else , and I love this girl". "She... err...know I loving her but she not replying to my love... what do I do?" Well boys here's what you do... you leave that poor child alone and move along with your broken heart... because it's not broken really you're just breaking it by doing stupid things like chasing after someone and forcing them to like you, just as you've watched in that one thousandth Hindi film. In fact you're not even in love! That's called a crush... I know it's a new term to someone that only knows one term for fondness and liking... but it's true. So don't run around after that poor girl in your neighborhood and get a life. There are people out there that will literally stalk women, claiming that they're in love with them. And that's not all they will do. The worst is when they start cutting themselves and writing names of these girls on their wrists and god knows where else. To you all I have to say is, "seek professional help!" you're crazy and that's all there is to it. So stop harassing women and making yourself more confused than you already are. Because if you don't stop now, then the police will see to it that it is stopped... one way or another.

And to the other and final kind, the kind that will try to convince a girl that she is supposed to be in love with you by showing her that you're the nicest person in the whole world. The kind that will try everything from just being her friend then to following her to see that she gets home safe, to defending her from every thing even though she's the stupidest thing to ever do her job. To you all I have to say is that men everywhere are laughing at the fact that you've now become more desperate than a man in the desert looking for water. Please move on and realise that you're being a disgrace to mankind. Because it's all good if the woman accepts... but if that's a myth then it's time to loose the fantasy.
