My Kind of Place -- Aravind Krishna

My dream destination

It's always been Australia. I still remember my first visit to Sydney. It was a momentous occasion in my life. Fortunately for me, my wife happened to study there for two years. A good excuse to make frequent trips to my dream destination. It was then that I got to discover and enjoy every aspect of Sydney.

Soothing silence

Nothing can beat those relaxing trips to the outback or sitting in the Sydney harbour and watching the Opera House and the ferries go by. Despite being in an urban milieu, you can still catch some moments of solitude here.

Being a wildlife enthusiast, I find observing animals extremely de-stressing. And kangaroos are one of my favourite animals. I have explored almost all the jungles in India down South. When I was young, I would make frequent trips to the Mudumalai forest. Not just for adventure, it's a perfect way to get away from the monotony of everyday life and take a closer look at Nature.

Time for a break

I like to take time off and go on a holiday at least twice a year. But with increasing work pressure, it has now come down to once a year and is the most-awaited family outing. Not every time do we choose exotic locations, but instead prefer a wildlife resort down South.
