For those with a creative bent of mind, Radio City has a nationwide creativity contest called Radioactive till August 25.

In this contest, participants have to come up with a winning radio ad for any product or category that is allowed to advertise on radio under the broadcasting rules and regulations. To enter, participants need to record an original advertisement that has not been aired before and submit it to Radio City by August 25 on MP3 or DAT format along with an entry fee of Rs. 500.

Entries will be judged on creativity, effectiveness and uniqueness of the ad, and ads must have a good mix of words, music and other effects that go into an ad. The winning entry will receive a cash prize of Rs. 50,000 and 10,000 seconds of free airtime across Radio City's seven stations.
