LifeScan, a division of Johnson and Johnson Medical, has launched the OneTouch Helpline service. The helpline will provide information on diabetes management and on the OneTouch range of blood glucose monitoring devices, its usage, availability and prices.The helpline operators specially trained by LifeScan personnel can be reached by dialling 1800 22 55 44 (Toll free number for BSNL users) or 022 26827508 or 022 30845544

A quick response on the SMS can also be received by typing "jnj {lt}message{gt}" and sending it to 7333. With a simple procedure, OneTouch blood glucose monitor indicates if the person is achieving his treatment goals and is in the diabetes safe zone. Regular self testing is one of the best ways to know if the person is achieving his treatment goals and therefore avoiding the complications of diabetes, especially cardio-vascular.
