Three exhibitions from August 24-27 will kickstart Zak's bicentennial celebrations

The Chennai-based Zak Exhibitions and Tradeshows will reach a milestone when the company organises its 200th exhibition in the city from today till August 27.

The Bicentennial Exhibition Celebrations will kick-start with three shows — Zak Best of India Expo, Zak South India Property Fair and Zak Buildtech Trade Show — at the Chennai Trade Centre, Nandambakkam.

The first of the shows will be inaugurated by Suhasini Maniratnam today at 12 noon and will be open till 8 p.m. And on other days, from 10 a.m. to 8 p.m. The shopping fest will showcase over 400 products, ranging from consumer electronics and telecom goods to health and beauty products.The Zak South India Property Fair 2006, which will be on from August 25 to 27, 10 a.m. to 8 p.m., will see over 50 property developers from the four southern States, showcasing more than 200 residential and commercial properties. Over 10 housing finance companies and banks will offer the best deals on home loans and spot approvals. There will a seminar and a special cell will be set up to offer legal advice on property related issues.

The third one, which marks the company's 200th exhibition, is ZAK Buildtech - International Exhibition on Building Materials and Construction Technologies. It will be inaugurated on August 25 at 11.30 a.m.

Some of the products that will be displayed are adhesives, air conditioners, aluminium products, balcony railings, bathroom fittings and accessories, bore wells, cement, ceramic tiles, children's play area facilities, compound wall railings, construction and interior software, elevators and glass and glazing.

A seminar on the emerging trends and evolving technologies in building industry is being organised on August 26.
