The Central Cottage Industries Corporation of India is holding an exhibition-cum-sale titled "Ganesh Darshan" at Temple Tower, 672, Anna Salai, Nandanam.
The display includes Ganeshas in panchaloha in varied sizes, in mango and neem wood from Tamil Nadu, in rosewood from Karnataka, in sandalwood from Jaipur and Ganeshas in brass from Aligarh. Ganeshas in minakari from Varanasi are another attraction here.
The elephant god is depicted in different poses — sitting, standing, dancing, riding a chariot, wearing a mask, holding an umbrella and swinging on a jhoola.
The exhibition concludes today (August 26), 10.15 a.m. to 7 p.m.
Chaturthi special

Anniversary bash
