EXPO 2006 offers free consultation for those suffering from bone and joint problems

The Soundarapandian Bone & Joint Hospital and Research Institute, a speciality orthopaedic centre, is conducting a two-day health expo for the second consecutive year. EXPO 2006 aims to rid people of the suffering caused by back, shoulder and knee troubles. Experts will offer free consultation for arthritis, osteoporosis, shoulder and spinal problems.
The highlights are shoulder, arthritis and spinal evaluation. Orthopaedic consultants will conduct One Minute Risk Test and Bone Density Screening for people above age 50. Advice on exercises and postural correction will be given at the Spinal Rehab stall. A rheumatology consultant will offer advice on related problems. Fitness tests will also be done and dietary advice and exercises prescribed, accordingly.
Specialists such as Dr. Sivamurugan, Dr. Ravisubramaniam, Dr. Amol Prabhakar, Dr. Alpana and Dr. Sreeleka will offer free consultation to visitors during the expo, which will be held on September 2 and 3, between 10 a.m. and 6.30 p.m. at Yeses Royal Mahal, Annanagar.
