Should storytelling be part of primary school curriculum?

Appropriate move

Gone are the days when children heard bedtime stories from their grandparents and parents.

It developed their imagination, communication skills and even their character. It also kindled the urge to read more.

At a time when nuclear families and working parents with hardly any spare time are the norm, making storytelling part of the curriculum will be an appropriate move.
