How about a lifestyle change?

If you are a true-blue Bangalorean, you can't afford to miss The Hindu MetroPlus Lifestyle Show that opens this week

The Hindu MetroPlus Lifestyle Show at Palace Grounds is all set to paint the town red and change the way we think "lifestyle". The stage is set, the spotlights are on and all participants of the year's happening lifestyle event are peaking in enthusiasm to give Bangaloreans a bang for their buck.

And if we are painting the town red, who better than Berger Paints to tint the exhibition space with colour to heighten the already heady ambience?

Berger's brush with the lifestyle show, from September 6 to 11, doesn't stop there. They will show off their entire collection — cement, paint, distemper, plastic emulsion, luxury emulsion and designer finish range of paints — to Bangaloreans who never seem to tire of doing up their homes. "Berger's latest Kaleidoscope Collection includes fun shades for kids' rooms, while the Cosmic Feng Shui collection and Illusions offer graphic finishes and textures suitable for various climates. We will seize the opportunity at the Lifestyle Show to explain what our special new-generation paints can do," says K.K. Sai, Regional Manager, Berger Paints.

K-lite, lighting specialists from Chennai, will brighten the entire space of this rocking show with their assortment of blinkers and specialised lighting. From lights that literally snake up creepers, garden runners, spotlights, fibre optics and recessed-down lights.

Creating new silk routes into customers' hearts, S.M. Silks and KSIC Silks are gearing up to add their share of lustre to the stalls. Whether it's saris in traditional checks or innovative borders, with stain-guard features, traditional temple borders or with contemporary chutzpah, the silk majors will rustle up their exotic spread for visitors and shopaholics.

Crafting pottery into poetry Delhi-based Poettery-Design for Life. Metal and wooden artefacts are given a dash of glossy earthen finish by this boutique range. Corner and centrepieces enhanced with embellishments, table lamps, flower vases and framed mirrors are just some of the lifestyle statements on offer. "The glazed wear and art work is mind-boggling because they are originally crafted from wood, which then goes through a lamination process for this exquisite finish at my Meerut unit," says Sarabjeet Singh of Poettery.

The stalls of Ethnic Collections, Inspirations and Sai Arts and Frames will offer a wonderful range of innovative wall dιcor, paintings and frames. Earthen Symphony will show off its collection of murals and pottery. You can't miss the Feng Shui indoor greenery collection at the stall of Kushal Decorative Indoor Plants.

Also watch out for home products at the stores of Gilma Kitchen Appliances, Pigeon Pressure Cookers, TTK Products, Faber Electric Chimney, Karnataka Soaps and Detergents, Handloom House, Stay Fit Health equipment and I-Rest massage recliners — all of whom are offering interesting add-ons exclusively for the show.

Tickets are priced at Rs. 40 and come with surprise gifts. Call 93425-77908 or 98801-95758.
