FLOWER POWER A colourful atthappookalam
It was fun and laughter at IBS on August 29 as it celebrated Kerala's harvest festival on the day. The beats of the chenda heralded the arrival of Mahabali.
There was an air of festivity as the employees decked the office with festoons and flowers. Techies turned designers and they floored their colleagues with their colourful creations with flowers.
The staff changed their formal wear for traditional clothes and all of them were attired in their Onam best.
It was a day-long celebration and competitions such as Atthappoo, Maveli @ IBS and `Chakkikkotta Chankaram' (best couple) were held.
A rolling trophy was given to the winning team.
Traditional games, dance and music programmes like Pulikkali, Onappattu and Thiruvathirakkali were also part of the day's celebration.
