Youth film

Malayalam cinema audiences worldwide have steadfastly refused to accept young heroes or newcomers for the past 15 years, as they seem to enjoy only Mammootty or Mohanlal films. Now director Lal Jose is ready with "Classmates," a youth film set on a college campus, featuring Pritviraj, Indrajeet, Jayasurya, Narain and Kavya Madhavan. Says Lal Jose: "`Classmates' brings back memories of your college days, the best time in your life. The film probes the mystery behind the death of a student when a batch gets together after a gap of 10 years.
