Teachers' Day movie

Celebrate this Teacher's Day with the movie "Black". It will be telecast on Star Gold at 8.30 p.m., September 5.

A movie by Sanjay Leela Bhansali, it tells the story of a teacher-student relationship. Debraj Sahai (Amitabh Bachchan) enters the life of Michelle Mc Nally (played by Ayesha Kapoor as a child and Rani Mukherjee as a woman).

Debraj is an alcoholic who was once a teacher for the hearing and visually impaired.

He is sent to teach Michelle, a hearing, speech and visually impaired girl, and is determined to get her out her world where everything is "black".

Michelle graduates after a long struggle.

Debraj later leaves his student when he starts losing his memory to Alzheimer's disease. Michelle finds him and takes it upon herself to teach him all that he ever taught her.
