Storehouse of information

You understand the significance of your hometown only when you live far away.

I am filled with a lot of happy memories of those formative years in school and will always relate to my hometown, Coimbatore.

I am now working in the Southern part of Germany, which has its own culture and tradition.

The people here are proud of their heritage, preserve it and highlight it. I have always felt a pang of sadness when I read into the history of a place and realised how little I knew about my hometown.

But the Heritage column in Metroplus has helped me get such information at the click of the mouse.

I find the articles interesting and they also serve as a storehouse of information.
