It's Onam and time for sadya


If it is Onam, it is sadya time, and Gokulam Park Inn is getting a feast ready for Thiruvonam day, September 5. The hotel is serving a traditional feast this Onam for those hankering after that authentic taste of traditional Kerala in all its earthiness. An onasadya awaits you at the hotel's restaurant with fare such as upperi, sharkaravaratti upperi, pavakka kichadi, avial, olan, thoran, pulyiinchi.

And these are just some of the items on the menu. The sadya will be served the traditional way on plantain leaves. There are two kinds of payasams to choose from - Parippu pradhaman and paalada.

The timings for the sadya are from 12.30 p.m. to 3.00 p.m. A sadya in a suitable ambience will cost Rs. 225 plus taxes.
