Galli Galli Sim Sim is the latest programme launched specially for children. An Indian version of the popular Sesame Street, is now telecast on Cartoon Network.

The series is made by Turner International India Pvt, Ltd., makers of kids' entertainment and Sesame workshop.

Galli Galli... is set in "an Indian Galli" and will have characters like Googly, Chamki, Aanchoo to name a few. The first season of the series comprises 65 episodes of 30 minutes each in Hindi, with the usage of English words. It is a well researched series that claims to help in developing social, emotional and cognitive skills in children.
