SERVE IT UP Think you can do well behind the bar? Here's a contest for you.
The Bacardi Bar League is conducting the Indian leg of the Bacardi Martini Grand Prix through the month of September. This contest gives local bartenders a chance to showcase their skills in the national and international arena.
The Bangalore segment of the event takes place at The Royal Orchid Central in Manipal Centre on September 7, and offers enthusiasts the chance to participate in a mixology and a flair (open disco) event. For the mixology event, participants must submit one creative cocktail with an original recipe using Bacardi Carta Blanca as the base. In the flair event, contestants must execute a working flair and a performance flair routine.
The regional winner in Bangalore will receive a trip to Mumbai, a cash prize and a certificate, while the national winner will receive an all-expense paid trip to Italy to represent the country at the Bacardi Martini Grand Prix 2007.
