ILLUMINATING MINDS The workshop aims to help professionals find the right lighting to maximise results
Here is a workshop for those who deal with lighting and creation of spaces, especially hospitality experts and HR professionals.
The three-day workshop, Lighting Design & Choreographing Light, which will be held from September 25 to 27 at the National Institute of Design, Ahmedabad, will introduce the basic principles of choreographing light and lighting design, how to use light to create the desired moods and enhance the beauty and the feel of any given space, indoors or outdoors.
It will discuss the basic concepts used to create lighting that help increase sales as in the case of retail and drama advertisements, in work spaces to create increased productivity and efficiency, and in recreational spaces to create health, relaxation and tranquillity. Also, 3-D and 6-D lighting choreography and storytelling through light will be tried out. The workshop will be conducted by Krishnesh Mehta who has been working on the synergetic convergence of design, science and technology and management for over a decade.
Participation will be limited to a maximum of 20 people. Non-residential registration fee is Rs. 5,500, which includes lunch and workshop registration. The fee has to be paid by demand draft/pay order drawn in favour of the National Institute of Design, payable at Ahmedabad.
