Changing Tack

Malayalam actor Dileep is now changing tack and doing an action film "Don" with veteran director Shaji Kailas. The film, released for Onam in Kerala, opened in Chennai on Thursday. In the film, Dileep plays Unnikrishnan who due to circumstances becomes Salaam, the righthand man of Baba, a selfstyled godfather to the poor and needy. Gopika plays the female lead. Says Dileep: "I want to try out different genres to become a complete actor. That is the reason why I decided to take a break from comedy films and do this action entertainer."
