Family Values

Veteran producer Satyajyothi Thyagarajan is back with "Emttan Mahan," which was released on Thursday. The film is directed by new-comer Thirumurugan, who became a household name after his successful serial "Mettioli" on Sun TV. "Emttan Mahan" is a family entertainer with some great melodies from Vidyasagar. The story is about a strict father played by Nassar, a loving mother played by Saranya and their son Bharath who revolts. Gopika and Gajala are the heroines and Vadivelu provides the comedy. Says Thirumurugan: "The film is about relationships and family values and I'm sure it will click with the masses."
