SUPER CONTINENT If you're in Sydney, the Opera House is a must-do.

You want to make your honeymoon truly special. You are looking for an exclusive lodge in the countryside, or the stillness of the rainforest, or a beachfront bungalow within view of the ocean. Believe it or not, it is possible and Australia has to be your destination.

Australia, with more than 2,700 designated conservation areas, is made for romantics where couples can surf, indulge in long walks or sigh over breathtaking sunsets. A continent where nature has not stinted her glory. Some of the reserves include fauna and flora parks, national parks and reef sites.

The Four Mile beach in Queensland even houses a Crystal Chapel described as the "sweetest place to tie the knot". You could also travel in an open-top convertible and discover the cities, lounge in a luxury train or even cruise through the coastal Queensland, sail to the northern reaches of the most remote and pristine areas of Cape York and the Northern Territory. The more adventurous can take a helicopter and cruise through The Kimberley in Western Australia. For gourmets, Melbourne offers fine dining where you can savour international cuisine or Australia's own fusion cuisine.

If it is resorts and spas on your mind then you can try the spa country in the Macedon Ranges. There are also spas such as the Angasana Spa at Palm Cove, Eco Lodge and Silky Oaks at Daintree, Queensland and Waldheim Alpine Spa at Cradle Mountain in Tasmania to name a few.

Australia's cosmopolitan cities are rich in exciting urban bustle, style and hospitality with lots of outdoor living and any excuse is a good one for a party.Log on to www.australia.com
