My kind of place
Has to be only NY
I need not give a second thought when it comes to talking about my favourite destination. New York is just my kind of place. It perfectly suits my attitude and personality. When you are there, you need not hide your exuberance. The city allows you to be what you are. I have lived in so many places across the globe, but in NY, I feel completely at home. Those who cannot fit anywhere can easily fit in New York.
It's own identity
What Paris is for fashion and London is for theatre, NY is for people and life. More than those flattering tall buildings, ever-busy roads, exotic restaurants and up-market stores, what makes the city tick is its liveliness and the ability to march ahead majestically with time. It also seems to teach you pragmatic lessons in living — talk straight and keep moving on. It quite matches my thinking because I am not the kind of person who likes to run around in search of quietude.
Fashion destination
Though I also visit New York for professional reasons, my designer creations are marketed from SoHo (located in the neighbourhood of New York City), personally too each trip is a gratifying experience.
Revisiting Rome
Another place that I would like to visit, but not been able to is Rome. I have spent my years of youth there and have not visited since I shifted base. I am curious to see whether it has changed from its usual laid back and calm self.
