Burritos are big

Did someone ask for Burritos? Well, it is quite simple as well as familiar. Take a flour tortilla, spread some rice on top, put the desired sauce along with a chicken, mutton or fish stuffing and fried onions. Now wrap it up and it is ready. Sounds like kathi rolls? It surely is a little different. Burritos essentially are a part of the Tex-Mex cuisine. Served with nachos and salsa sauce, Burritos are spicy the Mexican way.

Radical Burritos

TGI Friday's is currently promoting Radical Burritos. The promotion is on for three months. The good thing about TGI is that the regular menu is available along with these Burritos. Going by public opinion a visit here is incomplete without having the TGI Friday's special chicken wings. In Burritos there are five varieties to be tried, each priced at Rs.350. But vegetarians can't enjoy the Burrito dishes, as there is no such option available.

However for the non-vegetarians it can be a real treat for they can enjoy Te Kung Pao Chicken Burrito, a warm tortilla stuffed with white rice and tender sautéed chicken in a spicy Kung Pao sauce with cucumbers, cilantro, green onions and crunchy peanuts. If in the mood to try out something savoured by those in the U.S., you can go in for the Texas BBQ Pork Burrito, a soft tortilla stuffed with white rice and grilled pork tenderloin in a tangy Texas barbeque sauce, with a spicy pepper jack cheese, sliced jalapenos, mild green chillies, cilantro and frizzled fried onions topped with queso cheese sauce. You can avoid the Blackened Cajun Lamb Burrito, which promises much but impresses little, and it can be a task to actually eat it. Those fond of seafood can opt for the Asian Coconut Shrimp Burrito, which is the spiciest of the lot. Those with a sweet tooth are sure to enjoy the Cinnamon Fried Ice Cream.
