Media art workshop
The Goethe Institut/Max Mueller Bhavan is hosting a four-day media art workshop titled First Flush/ First Flash. In this workshop, Mischa Kuball, an award-winning artist involved in training jobs, space-referred projects and related works at universities and art academies, will present contemporary media art productions with the help of examples from the Hochschule für Gestaltung (HfG)/Zentrum für Kunst und Medientechnologie (zkm) Karlsruhe (www.hfg-karslruhe.de) . In all about 50 media-based works will be viewed and examined together in respect to their cultural context. The projects of the workshop participants will then be presented and discussed. Moreover, the participants will initiate a workshop project, present it as rough cuts and discuss it.
The focus of the workshop will be on spontaneous creative output resulting in a tentative or preliminary form that can be expanded into a larger project.
The workshop is on from September 23 to 26 at Max Mueller Bhavan and is limited to 15 participants only.
