It's no longer just for male. Van Heusen has launched its women wear line Van Huesen Woman in the country. Meant for corporate women, it is meant to satisfy needs of the modern Indian women who are now looking for variety both in terms of seasons and occasions. Hemchandra Javeri, President of Mudra Garments says, "Van Heusen Woman is international women wear which is available at affordable prices and suits the exclusive needs of modern women."

The company has also launched V dot for the urban male. "It is our offering to young Indian male who wants unlimited style and unabashed attitude," says Javeri.

Reflecting the attitude were model-turned-actors Zulfi Syed, Aryan Vaid on the ramp at the Taj Palace, during the launch.

Indrani Dasgupta and Aarti Sharma displayed the Van Heusen Woman collection.

Designers Saunak Sen, Sapan and Smruti say Indian woman is now touching the new heights of success.

Now she is ambitious, confident, independent and highly educated. She is now holding important positions in the corporate world and act as an important decision maker. Her dress must reflect her newfound position. "Through Van Heusen Woman we attempt to provide the contemporary women with a comprehensive and stylish wardrobe for solving diversity of purposes, from formal official meetings to the social events."

The tops, trousers, outwear, suits and blazers, bags and belts, knits and winter wear and stylish collection of accessories ranging from shoes to scarves and stockings attempt to provide the desired professional yet feminine look.
