Arya, a gun-runner

"Vattaram," produced and directed by Saran and starring Arya and newcomer Kirat Bhattal, is getting ready for Deepavali release. Arya plays Burma, an orphan for whom Burma Bazaar in Chennai is home. He sells imported guns to the rich and powerful in the State. Napolean is a tycoon in the film and Kirat, his daughter, falls in love with the hero. "Vattaram" is smartly packaged with songs by Bharadwaj that will appeal to the youth.
