Crafts from all over the country are on display at C. P. Arts Centre

Handicrafts, handlooms and jewellery constitute the display at an exhibition-cum-sale titled "Asian Arts and Crafts Fair."
Salwar sets from Uttar Pradesh, Punjab and Kashmir, tops, skirts embellished with mirror work from Rajasthan, vegetable dyed handblock printed silk saris from Madhya Pradesh, Venkatagiri, Mangalgiri and Pochampalli saris from Andhra Pradesh, pashmina shawls, curtains and bed linen are on display.
Those who are looking to deck up their homes can check out the Madhubani and Tanjore paintings, palm leaf engravings, tribal art, silk canvas, brass idols, black metal artefacts, fruit bowls and intricately crafted furniture.
If accessories are what interest you, the exhibition has a wide range of jewellery in silver studded with precious and semi precious stones. Besides, there are one gm gold kadas.
For the festive season, a 10 per cent discount on handicrafts and jewellery and a 20 per cent discount on handlooms are being offered. The exhibition is on at the C. P. Arts Centre, No. 1, Eldams Road till October 21, 9.30 a.m. to 9.30 p.m.
