Gala time at YMCA

Uni-Art '06 will be held on October 7 at the YMCA halls

It will be a gala time at the YMCA Halls on October 7 as Uni-Y, the students' organisation of YMCA, is organising `Uni-Art `06.' Open to university and Plus-Two students, this year's festival features three events - debate, quiz and mock press. Test your reasoning skills in debate and your level of intelligence and general knowledgein the quiz.

Step into the shoes of a celebrity and try your media skills in `Mock Press.' Participants stand a chance of winning a hefty purse as the prize. The Kerala Kaumadi All-Kerala Debate Trophy will go to the best debating team and the best quizzer will be given the Biji Memorial Rolling Trophy.

Registration is Rs. 30 for a person for each event, and if you are confident you can handle all the events, it's Rs. 50 for a participant. Participants must have their identity-cards issued from their educational institutions.
