Chicken, with fun

The American restaurant chain, KFC becomes the sponsor for the West Indies team taking part in the ICC Champions Trophy.

Announcing the global sponsorship for the cricket tournament to be held in India for the first time, from this Saturday, Sandeep Kohli, Director, Indian, Sub-continent, Yum! Restaurants International, told presspersons at a meet in New Delhi this week, "In a country where cricket is a passion, we are excited that we are sponsoring the talented West Indies team for the tournament." To keep the tempo on, KFC outlets have the "Bucket Mein Cricket" promos where for Rs.199, one can buy the KFC bucket. It comes with a coupon while the Rs 299 worth KFC bucket will have two coupons. Fifty lucky winners selected through a lucky draw gets and opportunity to lunch with the West Indies team.

Ten more winners will receive an original cricket bat autographed by the entire team. All the outlets of KFC across eight Indian cities including Delhi, Bangalore and Hyderabad will participate in the contest.
