Filmy flavour to cricket!

With the ICC Champion Trophy being telecast on Sony Max, the channel is going all out to promote "Extraa Innings".

It has been airing promos of the programme, featuring cricketers and the commentary team comprising Charu Sharma, Mandira Bedi, Rohit Roy and Shonali Nagrani, on all southern channels.

The idea seems to be to get more people, including women, to watch "Extraa Innnings".

Chat show

The king of talk shows, Michael Parkinson is back on Star World (Sundays, 7.30 p.m.) with the fourth season of his show — "Parkinson". Some of the biggest names in Hollywood have been featured in the show.

Many of the Indian chat shows are inspired by "Parkinson".
