Boom time

"Don" and "Jaan-e-Mann" are finding it difficult to get big screens in Chennai. The State Government's decision to give entertainment tax benefits to Tamil films has hurt other language films, especially in Chennai city. Most of the theatres, which were earlier showing English and Hindi films on a regular basis, have now switched to Tamil films or cut down the number of shows. Meanwhile, it is boom time for Kollywood as seven films are getting ready for Diwali release.
